My name is Katie and I am the admin for this forum. I was born with a left side hemiplegia which was diagnosed at 9 months old. Like most of you know my childhood was spent in and out of hospital having one procedure after another. I did attend Charlton Park School but was moved to a mainstream primary at the age of nine and then onto a mainstream comprehensive school before college. After college I worked in a London art gallery before moving to Norfolk in 1991.
From my late teens onwards my disability did not really bother me and I just got on with living.
